Title: Mindful moment: Finding your path

Finding your path. What does that even mean? Finding your own path means being mindful of what's right for you and making decisions based on what makes you happy, gives your life meaning and honors what makes you special and unique.

Ruben Chavez once said, “Pay attention to the things you are naturally drawn to. They are often connected to your path, passion and purpose in life. Have the courage to follow them.”

In order to stay on the path, first remember, it's your own unique path. There is no other you to follow. Start by connecting with who you are. Discover what you like and don't like. Find out what makes you happy and what makes you sad. What hobbies or interests bring that fire, that spark, into your life? What works for you and what doesn't?

Each of us gets to choose the direction we go. Each of us gets to choose our purpose on our path. And it's okay to be imperfect; we all are. It's okay to feel like a mess. We all do sometimes. Get back on your path of self-discovery. The journey is connecting and becoming your most authentic self.
