Our services are confidential. That means if you or a family member calls the toll-free number, neither your employer nor anyone else will know you used the program unless you choose to tell them. All calls are confidential except as required by law (e. g., when a person’s emotional condition is a threat to self or others, there is suspected child, spousal or elder abuse or abuse to people with disabilities).
You can use your counseling sessions by phone, in person or virtually. Your included counseling sessions are free of charge and are in addition to any mental health benefits you may have through your health plan. If you’d like to change counselors at any time, give us a call and we can help connect you with a new provider.
Day or night, you can give us a call 24/7 for in-the-moment emotional support. We can help you find a provider and connect you with local community support groups. Services are available to you and your household members, including children living away from home up to age 26.

Therapy sessions through the Resources for Living provider network do not have a cost. There are no insurance premiums and no out-of-pocket costs (deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance). Depending on your provider type and how you access therapy, you may be required to provide an authorization. Visit the link below to learn more.
Members may be referred to a medical provider outside of the program for long-term or higher level of care to address mental health and/or substance misuse needs that cannot be addressed in the EAP setting. Costs for services provided outside of the program are the responsibility of the member.

Services are delivered by a nationwide network of licensed behavioral health professionals providing a variety of counseling disciplines and specialties. These professionals include social workers, licensed professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, master-level psychiatric nurses and psychologists. Any services with a psychiatrist would fall under your medical insurance.
